PURPOSE: A method for changing a base station node address of a mobile communication system is provided to make a base station manager remotely set changes of the base station node address, so as to remove a discontent of a mobile communication service subscriber according to the changes of the base station address to supply a reliable mobile communication service without a manpower waste or an error generation. CONSTITUTION: If a base station is driven, an NMP(Network Management Processor) of the base station reads a base station node address set in a memory, and confirms a current address of the base station(S11). A base station manager transmits a new base station address message to the NMP(S12). The NMP stores the new base station node address in the memory to change the base station node address stored in the memory(S13). The NMP reads the base station address stored in the memory(S14). The NMP including a packet routing master sets the new base station node address to the packet routing master(S15). The NMP reset a node address of another function block to complete settings of the base station node address and the node address of the function block(S16).
