PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a data interface device, a panel driver and a monitor where EMI can be suppressed by transmitting data in a way that a transmission rate can be changed within a prescribed range of the transmission rate. SOLUTION: In a liquid crystal display panel driver, a source drive IC 22 is connected to a timing controller 26 through 1st and 2nd buses, and a frequency divider 30 is provided between the timing controller 26 and a clock modulator 28. R, G, B data as to odd number order pixels are fed to the source drive IC 22 through a 1st internal bus FIB and R, G, B data as to even number order pixels are fed to the source drive IC 22 through a 2nd internal bus SIB. Thus, the timing controller 26 can separate odd number order pixel data from video data ERD, EGD, EBD received from an external bus. Data delivered through the 1st and 2nd internal buses have a frequency that is a half of data on the external bus.
