PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure safety by immediately interrupting gas supply when a supply gas amount to a burner exceeds a minimum allowable value. SOLUTION: A cock type local switch is adapted such that a magnet valve 8 and a cock 2 are opened with push/turn operation of an ignition knob 1 to supply gas to a pilot burner 11 and a main burner 12 and simultaneously actuate a piezoelectric device 13 for igniting the pilot burner 11 for fire transfer to the main burner 12, whereby a thermocouple 14 is heated with a main burner flame (e) to open the magnet vale 8 and keep it intact, and the cock 2 is rotated with rotation operation after the depress of the ignition knob 1 is released to adjust a supply gas amount to the main burner 12. In the switch, a cam 3 and a magnet circuit interlocked with the ignition knob 1 and a switch 4 equipped in a magnet circuit are associated with a rotation angle of the cock 2, and when the supply gas amount to the main burner 12 exceeds a minimum allowable value being fire 'weak', the switch is turned off with the cam 3 to cut off the magnet circuit.
