PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer semiconductor ceramic electronic component having a laminated type capable of miniaturization of an electronic component itself, wherein a room temperature resistance is low and at most 0.2Ω, a resistance changing range is at least 2.5 digits, and a withstand voltage is high and at least 10 V. SOLUTION: In this multilayer semiconductor ceramic component 1, barium titanate based semiconductor ceramic layers 5 and inner electrode layers 7 are alternately stacked, and external electrodes 9 are formed so as to be electrically connected with the inner electrode layers 7. In this case, the mean grain diameter of porcelain particles constituting the semiconductor ceramic layers 5 between the inner electrode layers 7 is at most 1μm, and the mean porcelain particle number a layer which is viewed from the laminating direction of the semiconductor ceramic layers 5 is at least 10.
