PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent erroneous attachment to a communication device main body of a line connection means to which a subscriber number is set. SOLUTION: When detecting attachment of an RF module 2 by a detection switch 16, a main body control part 14 compares a telephone number set to the RF module 2 and a telephone number, which is stored in an internal memory 13 and is set to an RF module 2 connected at the preceding connection time, with each other; and if they are matched with each other, respective telephone numbers are displayed on a liquid crystal display panel 12, and it is confirmed and displayed whether the RF module 2 to be attached has been correctly attached. If information indicating correct connection is inputted by a user, the telephone number set to the newly connected RF module 2 is held as the telephone number set to the RF module 2 connected at the preceding connection time.
