PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a controller from being stopped by an overcurrent protective operation caused by an input current which is the charging current of a filter capacitor while an inverter is in operation. SOLUTION: A means which turns off a switching device 3 connected in parallel to a resistor and charges a filter capacitor 4 through the resistor when a DC power supply is interrupted, and, after the voltage of the filter capacitor is lowered, the DC power supply is restored while an inverter 5 is in operation is provided. The inverter 5 is protected from stoppage by an overcurrent protective operation caused by an input current which is applied when the DC power supply is interrupted and, after the voltage of the filter capacitor is lowered, the DC power supply is restored while the inverter is in operation.
