PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a receiver allowed to correspond to a change in broadcasting formats and reduced at its device cost and development cost. SOLUTION: Satellite, CATV and ground wave broadcasting signals are respectively converted into digital signals through respective tuners 20, 120, 220 and inputted to a programmable gate array 410. A CPU 510 connected to an external storage device 520 such as an HDD executes a change in the circuit data of the gate array 410 and its control and controls also respective tuners 20, 120, 220.
