Manufacture of skinless sausages by cooking sausage meat in a mould, which gives good quality sausages in a simple process

Skinless sausages are manufactured by filling a cylindrical mould (1) with sausage meat (6), and cooking in a microwave oven. This causes the meat to expand slightly to fill the mould, and to gelify so it holds its shape. The sausages are then cooled and removed from the mould.
