SOCKET CONNECTOR AND COMPACT SUBSTRATE CONNECTION STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket connector capable of effectively using a contact for signal lines of sufficient number without allotting ground to the contact for a signal line and provide a compact substrate connection structure provided with the socket connector and a compact substrate mounted to the socket connector. SOLUTION: This socket connector 10 used for mounting a compact substrate 30 to a main substrate includes a contact row for contacting with a signal contact row of the compact substrate 30 and a hold-down 1 provided for enhancing mechanical connection strength to the main substrate. The hold-down 1 includes the contact point integrally formed for contacting with an electric connection pad 33 for grounding provided on a surface of the compact substrate 30.
