摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a method for adjusting a sample in a volume rendering pipeline by storing an adjusting value as an input item for a table. SOLUTION: Both grain and base about input items for a table are stored to designate the range of an index. The absolute value of a gradient vector of a sample is calculated. A gradient is collated with the table, and two adjusted values corresponding to the gradient are calculated. The two adjusting values are interpolated by using the grain and base by a linear function to obtain an adjustment coefficient with which the sample is adjusted.
