PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the amount of consumption of a primary ion producing gas to possible minimum. SOLUTION: This device includes an ion producing part 22 having a needle electrode 18 and supplying a primary ion producing gas 1, a mixing part 24 in communication with the ion producing part 22 through an opening and supplied with a specimen gas 4, and an electrode 32 to lead the ionized specimen gas 4 in the part 24 to a mass-spectrographic part 26 having a mass- spectrographic means via a small hole part 25. A circulating passage 12 is connected with the part 22 in its position between the lead-in hole 8 and exhaust hole 13 for the primary ion producing gas 1 and is furnished with a tertiary flow rate regulator 9, a pressurizing pump 10, and a tertiary pressure regulator 11. The surplus primary ion gas 1 is circulated from the lead-in hole 8 to the ion producing part 22 via the circulating passage 12 to be reused. The reuse of this circulated gas allows suppression of the amount of consumption, and an atmospheric ionization mass-spectrometer can be used as a long-term analysis monitoring device.
