PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently store a program provided together with a scenario in a storage device for storing a digital broadcast or the like. SOLUTION: In the storage device for preparing new contents on the basis of a scenario by using a part of a digital broadcast program or the like as an object on the basis of a tag, a storage control means 305 interprets the scenario and controls storage so as not to store data independent of the scenario and already stored data. When the range of an object to be newly stored is overlapped with an existing object range, an overlapped storage processing means 308, stores these objects as a collected object. In the case of continuously reproducing objects on the basis of the scenario, a continuous storage processing means 307 stores these objects so as to continuously arrange them. At the time of selecting a certain object, a look-ahead storage processing means 312 stores the head part of an object to be selected at first. Consequently the capacity of storage can be minimized and contents can be efficiently reproduced.
