PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain connection in response to a status of interaction and supervision and efficient transmission reception of a moving picture signal, an audio signal and control data by stating an interaction using an image signal and an audio signal between a central station and a terminal station when a visitor at the terminal station makes an operation to request interaction. SOLUTION: When a visitor enters a room, a detection means 108 installed at the entrance of the room detects a motion of the visitor and transmits a setup signal including a room entry notice signal to a central station 2. When the visitor depresses an interaction button 323 provided to an image audio interactive unit 10 at a terminal station 3, a system controller 310 transmits a setup signal including an interaction request notice signal to the central station 2. The central station 2 receives the interaction request notice signal included in the setup signal and lights a lamp corresponding to the terminal station 3 in an interaction request information display section provided on an operation unit 104, connects a B channel to the terminal station 3 so as to start a 2-way interaction by using an audio and image signal between the visitor and a guide of the central station 2.
