PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive paper money dealing device that the device size (especially, a depth size) is miniaturized, the life of unit parts can be prolonged, the work efficiency can be improved and the operation cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: A money paying/receiving port 3, a discernment part 2, an attachable/detachable reject case 8, temporarily holding parts 4 and 5 by individual denominations, which are installed on a main body side, and cassettes 14 and 15 by individual denominations, which can be attached/detached to/from the lower parts of the temporary holding parts 4 and 5 by a drawing guide are installed. This device has a memory control function for storing information (paper money refill date, opening/closing time and amount in had by individual denominations) on dealing are stored in the reject case and the cassettes by individual denominations, which can be attached/detached, and controlling the opening/closing of a cover.
