PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of sure removal of residual toner on a transfer belt (toner carrier), with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This image forming device is constituted by an intermediate transfer belt 43 traveling in carrying the charged toner on a surface, a rotating cleaner roller 16 held in press contact with the intermediate transfer belt 43, a power source 16a applying a potential on the cleaner roller 16 attracting the toner from the intermediate transfer roller 43, and the front roller 90 held in press contact with the intermediate transfer roller 43 on the upstream side of the intermediate transfer belt 43 further upstream than the cleaner roller 16.
