COLORIMETRIC DEVICE USING SCANNER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize colorimetric operation with very high productivity by using a scanner. SOLUTION: A scanner 2 is used as an input means for color data and scanner measurement data are obtained by calculating the arithmetic mean of image data of a specific area. The arithmetic mean data make fractional parts effective. A converting means which equalizes the scanner measurement data to standard colorimetric data is provided to convert the scanner measurement data into standard colorimeter data with a profile for conversion because of actual demands for a processing speed, file size, etc.
