PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator wherein an upwardly opened recess is provided on a partitioning wall which divides the interior of a box body into an upper section and a lower section, and a flexible tray on which an article can be placed and which can be drawn out and pushed into in the front and rear directions is provided beneath the bottom surface of the recess. SOLUTION: In the refrigerator, an inclined part 6b, the inner side of which is inclined downward, is provided at least on an upwardly opened recess 6 provided on a partitioning wall 2 vertically dividing the interior of a box body. A tray 7 on which an article can be placed and has a flexibility at least in the front and rear directions thereof is provided beneath the bottom surface 6a of the recess 6 so as to be drawn out and pushed into the box body.
