PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and a developing device constituted that an image defect is prevented from occurring because of developer electrified to reverse polarity to normal polarity and high image quality and high durability are realized with respect to the image forming device and the developing device recycling the developer eliminated and recovered by a cleaning means. SOLUTION: An intermediate sleeve 24 is arranged in parallel with a developing sleeve 20 and a 1st and 2nd stirring bars 22 and 26 are arranged at both sides thereof. Besides, a recovery roller 25a is arranged by being near to the sleeve 24. Then, toner recovered by the cleaning means (17) is dropped near the bar 26 through a carrying pipe 5 and supplied to the sleeve 24 by the bar 26. The new toner and the recovered toner are carried by the sleeve 24 and only the reversely electrified toner is recovered by the roller 25a meanwhile. At this time, voltage is applied so that the surface potential of the roller 25a becomes lower than that of the sleeve 24. The reversely electrified toner is electrified to the normal polarity by being sufficiently stirred with the new toner and only the normal-polarity toner is supplied to the sleeve 20 through the bar 22. |
