PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep constant the mixing ratio of a liquid fuel to water in a mixing tank at all times and simplify the structure of a fuel cell system. SOLUTION: This fuel cell system is equipped with a mixing tank 16, a methanol supply device 18, and a water supply device 20. When a mixed liquid in the mixing tank 16 and a liquid fuel stored in the methanol supply device 18 are each detected being less than a fixed amount by means of first and second level sensors 24, 92, respectively, a switching valve 78 acts to stop the supply of water from the water supply device 20 to the mixing tank 16. |
