The procedure uses a combustion chamber (1) in which the milled carbon particles are maintained in a fluidised state by a pulsed flow of combustion air from a turbine (10), with the mixture kept in suspension by a turbulent flame produced by a primary liquid or gas fuel. The milled carbon waste is fed into the turbine, which mixes it with combustion air and injects it tangentially into the combustion chamber through the flame. After combustion of the carbon particles, the gases and non-combustible particles are separated in an acceleration zone (6) created by a reduction in cross-section, while an expansion chamber (7) traps flying ash.
