PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to check his or her appearance with a mirror while handling a portable telephone and to provide the compact mirror which doesn't give others an unpleasant feeling even before the public by incorporating the mirror in the backside of a portable telephone button cover. SOLUTION: A mirror 2 is provided in the center of a front idle space of a button cover rear face 1 of the portable telephone body, and an adhesive is applied to the center part of its mirror backside 3 to stick the mirror. The user can openly look at himself or herself in the mirror 2 before the public anywhere irrespective of sex and age while pretending to handle the portable telephone or speak, thus always freely checking his or her appearance.
