PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical heater capable of effectively heating a heating object 28 from its periphery, and thereby reducing a heating period so that a processing time per cycle can be reduced and consumption power can be reduced. SOLUTION: The same number of connection blocks 32 made of a conductor as that of heater members 31 are circularly arranged in a form insulated from one another, a pair of upper end parts of each of the heater members 31 are fixed to the adjacent connection blocks 32. Thereby, the plural heater members 31 are cylindrically arranged by spacing them apart in the circumferential direction, and the upper ends of the adjacent heater members 31 are electrically connected together through the connection blocks 32. Thereby, the plural heater members 31 are serially connected in a closed circle-like form. Electrodes 36 are formed on three of the connection blocks 32 separated from one another, and power is supplied to this cylindrical heater 12 from a three-phase power source.
