PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera having a trimming zoom function capable of easily switching the on/off of trimming zoom regardless of the set state of a photographing lens without newly providing an operating member. SOLUTION: In a camera having the trimming zoom function for obtaining a pseudo zoom effect by trimming a specified area in a photographic image plane, 1st setting action to set to a mode for performing the trimming zoom by a trimming zoom setting part 13 and 2nd setting action to set the image plane size of a photographic print by an image plane size setting part 12 are performed. Then, the 1st setting action and the 2nd setting action are operated by the same manual operating member 14.
