PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high contrast image having few image defects by incorporating a specified complexing agent into one of a heat-developable color photographic sensitive material for photographing and a processing member for the sensitive material and satisfying specified relations. SOLUTION: When a heat-developable color photographic sensitive material for photographing having a developing agent of formula I, II or the like on the substrate is exposed and stuck to a processing member for the sensitive material in the presence of water and they are heated to form a color image, a slightly water-soluble metal compound a complexing agent capable of forming a complex with a metal ion constituting the compound in the presence of water are incorporated into one of the sensitive material and the processing member and the relations of pKamax-pHs<=1.0 and pHs<=10.0 (where pKamax is the maximum pKa value of the complexing agent and pHs is the pH of the film surface of the sensitive material) are satisfied.
