PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a development processing device and to shorten the processing time a while making it possible to suppress the shortening of the life of development processing liquids. SOLUTION: This development processing device is juxtaposed with plural processing tanks in which various kinds of the development processing liquids are stored. The respective processing tanks are provided with transporting mechanisms 22 and 27 for transporting photosensitive materials so that the photosensitive materials pass successively in the respective processing tanks. A prescribed number of the processing tanks 14 on the downstream side in the transporting direction of the photosensitive materials among the plural processing tanks are constituted as washing tanks to wash the photosensitive materials and are provided with scraper mechanisms 19 for scraping off the development processing agent-containing components adhered to the photosensitive materials within the processing tanks on the upstream side of the washing tanks from the photosensitive materials within the washing tanks 14. The scraper machines 19 are constituted by disposing scraper parts for the photosensitive materials at the circumferential parts of rotating bodies 21 rotating around axial centers O along the feed transverse direction of the photosensitive materials by accompanying the transportation of the photosensitive materials.
