Manual oxy-cutting blowtorch incorporating an integral over-heating device to improve blowtorch performance and reduce operating costs

A manual blowtorch comprises:- a) a blowtorch body, a manipulation handle and a nozzle allowing the delivery of a combustion gas mixture; b) first (10) and second (11) feed lines carrying combustible gas; d) a first (3) and second (2) valves for regulating the flow of combustible gas; f) a diversion line (21) connected to the second line (11) with control organ for control of the passage of the combustive gas in the diversion line (21). The control organ can be activated manually by the operator between an open position and a closed position and also incorporates some means for the creation (1) of charge loss arranged on the second line (11) or on the line by-passing this line (11). The utilization of this blowtorch in an oxy-cutting operation for a metal component containing iron, preferably a steel product.
