PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve thermoelectric conversion efficiency by roughly equalizing the area of a Peltier element aggregate to the area of the heat sink corresponding to the quantity of generated heat or the quantity of absorbed heat. SOLUTION: The area of the electrode board of a Peltier element aggregate 1 is set to a given area where the area of all electrode plates positioned on the heat radiation side of the Peltier elements becomes roughly equal to the area of the base part 2a of a heat sink 2. Hereby, this thermoelectric converter can conduct the generated heat or absorbed heat on the side of a predetermined heat exchanger to all range of a heat exchanging member, and can raise the thermoelectric conversion efficiency as the whole of the thermoelectric converter by drawing out the performance of the heat exchanging member enough.
