PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent rattle noise with a simplified structure and also enhance safety with a mechanical lock in a movable nose type front panel apparatus. SOLUTION: A tensile spring 5 that is compressed and extended following the rotation of a drive gear 6 which is never accompanied with movement of a movable nose 2 is provided between the drive gear 6 rotating using a motor 8 as the drive source and a drive lever 4 that is driven with the drive gear 6 to move the movaboel nose 2 between the erecting position and the falling position. Moreover, a lock lever 11 is driven with a driving body such as a cam plate 10 or the like which is integrally rotating with the drive gear 6. After the movable nose 2 is moved up to the predetermined erecting position via the tensile spring 5 and drive lever 4 with rotation of the drive gear 6 during the door closing operation, the lock lever 11 is engaged with the engaged part 2a of the movable nose 2 while the tensile spring 5 is extended with further rotation of the drive gear 6.
