METHOD FOR MEASURING HARMONIC CHARACTERISTICS OF ELECTRIC POWER SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the harmonic characteristics of a harmonic of interest on the load side of an injection point in an electric power system without actually measuring the voltage of inter-order harmonics injected into the electric power system. SOLUTION: An injected current Im of both inter-order harmonics injected into an injection point Pi from an injection device 9 is measured, a current Ima of the both inter-order harmonics flowing from the injection point Pi to the upstream side is measured, a current Imb of the both inter-order harmonics flowing from the injection point Pi to the load side is found from a difference between the currents Im, Ima, a voltage Vm of the both inter-order harmonics in a system 1 is found from the current Ima and admittance Yma or impedance Zma of the both inter-order harmonics converted from known admittance or impedance of the upstream side of the system 1, and the harmonic admittance or the harmonic impedance of the harmonic of interest on the load side of the injection point 1 in the system 1 is determined from the current Imb and the voltage Vm.
