PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pack battery having a metal band to be used conveniently upon being mounted in a dry cell accommodation part of an electric apparatus in the chargeable condition, capable of preventing its output contact from being short-circuited by the metal band, and assuring a safe use with no risk of short-circuiting by a dry cell set erroneously. SOLUTION: In lieu of dry cell, a pack battery is installed in a dry cell accommodation part 2 formed opening in the back face of an electric apparatus. The pack battery includes a plurality of secondary batteries 3 which are coupled parallel together by a metal band 11. The metal band 11 has a groove shape furnished with curved side walls 11B on the two side of a back face plate 11A in flat form. The side walls 11B are curved as tracing the surfaces of the secondary batteries 3 in cylindrical shape. The metal band 11 is provided with a charging window 23 for charging the secondary batteries 3, and the window 23 is open in extension till the lower situated curved side wall 11B of the electric apparatus. A charging terminal 22 is installed in the bottom part of batteries 3 in a position inside the charging window 23.
