PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cleaning device of a fixing device, in which the web can be moved by an optimum quantity corresponding to the soil level of a heating roller. SOLUTION: An average printing ratio for the transfer material of a prescribed quantity is calculated by a printing ratio with respect to each transfer material calculated by a printing ratio calculating means incorporated in an image memory. The web drive signal of the specified number of times, corresponding to the average printing ratio, is transmitted from a DC controller 30 to a solenoid 34. A web take-up lever 33 provided with a one-way bearing is rotated for the prescribed quantity in one direction by the reciprocating movement of the prescribed number of times of the solenoid 34, so that the web 29 of the prescribed quantity is taken up and moved by a take-up shaft 32. Thus, the surface of the heating roller 26 is wiped off, while the web 29 of the optimum quantity corresponding to the soiling level of the surface of the heating roller 26 is made to move. |
