PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing device capable of always realizing excellent photographing and obtaining an image where a person to be photographed is surely photographed with appropriate exposure as a whole every time without making the person to be photographed worry about the color of his (her) dress by preventing the assimilation of a background part and the dress. SOLUTION: As the preparation stage of photographing, the image of a person to be photographed is picked up by the electronic camera of an image pickup part 16 first so as to detect the color of the dress based on the obtained image data. For example, data processing is performed, aimed only at a specified area assumed as clothing part of the person 40 to be photographed out of the image data obtained from a CCD, and average L*a*b according to CIE 1976 L*a*b by a Commission International de l'Eclairage is calculated to detect the color of the dress. The detected result is inputted in an arithmetic control part 20 and an appropriate background color is decided in the control part 20. According to this decision, a background curtain 26 of the appropriate color is automatically set out of a roll-shaped background curtain 26. When the background is settled, photographing for recording (normal photographing) is performed by the image pickup part 16 in response to the pressing operation of a photographing button. |
