The seat system consists of a turntable (5) incorporating the seats (4) which rotates about a central axle (1) with a guide and thrust bearing for its radial and axial loads, with a ring of rollers (6) supporting the seats. The craft has a lower shell (10) of a material which makes it unsinkable, and an outer inflatable collar (7) to absorb shocks and provide additional buoyancy. A braking system with pads (11) stops the seats rotating during embarkation and disembarkation and is released either automatically or manually as the craft sets off.
