PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire capable of informing a user or the like about installation/non-installation of a globe. SOLUTION: This luminaire has a luminaire body 3 installed with a wiring device 7, such as a ceiling hook, provided on an installation face through an adapter 8 or the like. The downside (i.e., the front side) of the body 3 is installed with a body cover such that the body cover nearly covers at least a portion of the front side, and is installed with a globe 2 such that the globe 2 nearly covers the front side of the body 3 and the body cover. The front side of the body cover is provided with lamp sockets 6, and light sources 4 installed by lamp support springs 5 and output-controlled by an electronic lighting circuit. Light output of the light source 4 is varied according to an installation state and a non-installation state of the globe 2.
