摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate in a short time a layer structure of a resin coat layer of a metallic plate coated with a resin including polyethylene terephthalate by irradiating a section of the resin coat layer with a laser light and measuring a Raman spectrum. SOLUTION: In order to evaluate a resin coat layer of a metallic plate coated with a resin including polyethylene terephthalate(PET), a section of the resin coat layer is irradiated with a laser light and a Raman spectrum is measured. In other words, a half width of a peak resulting from a C=0 stretching vibration near 1730 cm-1 of a Raman shift among the Raman spectrum obtained by irradiating the section of the resin coat layer with the laser light is obtained. A density of the PET resin and the peak half width have a good correlation and are proportional to each other. A linearly polarized or unpolarized laser light is used as the irradiating laser light. According to the method, the resin coat layer can be highly accurately evaluated, enabling quality control for stable production of the resin coated metallic plate.
