PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain various gas sensors whose gas response characteristics are different. SOLUTION: Two gold electrodes 3 are formed to be in a comb shape on a glass substrate 1. A sensitive film 7 which is composed mainly of a conductive polymer is formed on the surface of the gold electrodes 3 so as to cover the gold electrodes 3 wholly. The conductive polymer which constitutes the sensitive film 7 is poly(3-hexylthiophene), and a UV thermosetting resin coexists. When this gas sensor is formed by using a sensitive film composed mainly of a conductive polymer of the same composition, the gas sensor whose gas response characteristic is different from a gas sensor in which a sensitive film is formed without adding the UV thermosetting resin is obtained as long as the sensitive film is formed by adding the UV thermosetting resin.
