<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lamp lighting device which prevents malfunctions due to rush current, immediately after the conduction of a power element with a protective function, when the lighting operation of a lamp is started, and which lights the lamp quickly and which achieves the protective function after being shifted to a steady state. SOLUTION: A time measuring means 12, which measures the time from the time at which the continuity of a power element 14 is started, is provided. A temperature detecting means 15 which detects the temperature of the power element 14 is provided. A logical operation means, which detects the cutoff state of the power element 14 on the basis of the time measuring means 12 and on the basis of the operating physical quantity of the power element 14, is provided. When the temperature detecting means 15 detects a temperature which is lower than a prescribed value, the power element 14 is made to operate.</p> |
