Straddle type tractor has power unit assembly composed of engine (2) and hydraulic pump(s) supplying through supple pipes (9) one or more hydraulic actuators. Motor is carried by chassis (3) pivoted on shaft (4) carried by tractor frame (1). Suction air pipe (5) connected to air filter (6) is on same shaft as tractor pivoting shaft and connected to engine admission pipe (5a) by detachable flange.
