Obstacle clearing device has wheel (1) with studs which supports vehicle (5) using two arms (4) fixed on wheel axle (2) and pivots (7) on vehicle. Wheel has ratchet-pawl system in which pawl (3) is fixed by pivot (6) against one of arms. Displacement of arms is limited by stops (8,9). When hitting obstacle, wheel becomes immobilized and, by its movement, vehicle rotates arm with wheel using ratchet-pawl around obstacle.
