The perforation method uses a gas at a higher pressure than atmospheric pressure for forming an opening (16) in a ceramic green sheet (1), by pulsed ejection of the gas from a pressure container (4), directed onto the surface (1a) of the ceramic green sheet at a given point, so that a plug of the ceramic material (17) is removed.
