The invention concerns a high rigidity flange connection device for jointing sections of duct (1b), conduit or the like, with polygonal cross-section comprising hollow profiles (6) extending outwards of the ducts (1b), each profile (6) including a support edge (9) such that when the two sections (1b) are being jointed, the support edges (9) of the corresponding profiles (6) are joined together. The invention is characterised in that each hollow profile (6) is obtained by winding a sheet metal with five successive folds (10, 12, 14, 16, 18) globally in the same direction and towards the inside of the profile (6), so that a bonnet (8) with polygonal cross-section, can be clipped on two jointed profiles (6), the transverse cross-section of the profile (6) is globally closed and said profile (6) has at least one inner fold (17) extending parallel to the inner surface of support edge (9) so that, when the two sections of the duct (1a, 1b) are being jointed, the corner parts (7) force the inner fold (17) onto the inner surface of said support edge (9) completely closing the profile (6) on itself thereby providing a rigid beam ensuring that the connection is perfectly sealed.
