PURPOSE: An elevating device of a needle board on a quilting machine is provided which is characterized by maximizing production amount because of an increase of elevating speed, not being vibration and noise, maximizing life time broadening effect and maximizing reliability. CONSTITUTION: The elevating device of the needle board on the quilting machine is comprised of: a round hole perforated on a guide fixing plate(1); a helical gear connected and installed to a main shaft; a disc cam(6) installed on a secondary shaft of a helical gear geared with the helical gear; a bearing or a short shaft installed on the disc cam(6) eccentrically; a holding piece(11) fixed-installed on an elevating shaft(9) of the needle board; the holding piece(11) having digital 'C' type slide hole(10); and the bearing inserted into the slide hole(10) and elevated on the elevating shaft(9).
