PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for loading a platform non-dependent type driver. SOLUTION: The printlet system for allowing an operating system(OS) to communicate with a connected device has a printlet dock printer driver(PDPD) 30 for directly interfacing with plural devices, a device list object 31 for displaying a device list to a user so that the user can select a selector and returning information concerned with the selector to the PDPD, a selecting device object 32 for charging the selector with respective operations included in the PDPD 30, and a job ticket object 34 formed by capsuling the knowledge of a job template attribute supported by the selector and allowed to be received by the selector.
