The invention relates to a system and a method for washing containers and/or particles that are located in said containers, comprising a device and a washing tip, which is removably connected to said device. The device comprises a reservoir with washing liquid, a pump with which the washing fluid is transported from the reservoir to an outlet on the device side, through a fluid channel; and a suction unit for drawing off liquid from an inlet on the device side by suction. The washing tip has a first area with an inlet for washing liquid and an outlet for washing liquid. Said outlet opens into a container when said container is arranged for washing. The washing tip also has a second area with an inlet for washing liquid from the container and an outlet for liquid from the container. When the washing tip is connected to the device, the outlet on the device side is joined to the inlet of the washing tip for washing liquid and the inlet on the device side is joined to the outlet of the washing tip for liquid from the container. The first and second areas are interconnected by a tapered area and both areas are configured in such a way that they can be connected to a device with a press fit.
