PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector capable of preventing adhesion and stack of particles and an incinerator capable of preventing dioxin generation caused by dusts in exhaust gas. SOLUTION: A dust collector, which is provided with a chute-shaped member 1 having a long-sized opening extending in the longitudinal direction thereof and guide members 9 and 10 for guiding gas containing particles to the opening of the chute-shaped member 1 when the opening is directed toward the upstream side of the gas flow containing particles, comprises a cooling mechanism 43 for cooling the chute-shaped member 1 or the guide members 9 and 10.
