PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for statistically processing computer network information for exactly and continuously performing the statistical processing of computer network information like a WWW system. SOLUTION: Concerning the method for statistically processing computer network information while using a computer system connected through a communication network to the arbitrary number of WWW connected on the communication network while storing files related to respective URL, the arbitrary number of WWWs are accessed by a collecting means while using the URL on the basis of a statistic processing program stored in the computer system, the respective accessed URL are stored by collecting the files from the respective WWW, the information of the respective stored URL is preserved by a URL information preserving means 12 together with system time and on the basis of the time sequential transition of a preserved URL number, the total number of files on an internet 10 is estimated while using a linear recursive expression or the like.
