PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat-developable image recording material which does not cause an unevenness in heat processing due to a defective conveyance in the handling of the heat-developable photosensitive material by using a layer obtained by applying and drying a coating fluid containing a specified lubricant dispersed in water as lubricant dispersed particles having a specified particle diameter as the outermost layer and specifying the coefficient of dynamic friction of the outermost layer. SOLUTION: The outermost layer of the heat developable image recording material is obtained by applying and drying a coating fluid containing a lubricant of the formula (R1COO)pL(OCOR2)q having 50-200 deg.C melting point dispersed in water as lubricant dispersed particles having 0.05-0.3μm particle diameter. The coefficient of dynamic friction of the outermost layer is 0.05-0.25. In the formula, R1 and R2 are each a 1-60C optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, aralkyl or aryl, L is a (p+q)-valent hydrocarbon which may contain O or S, (p) and (q) are each an integer of 0-6 and 1<=p+q<=6.
