PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make correction, change or erase of the record or printed content on the surface of an optical recording medium easy by preparing a laminated body of a foamed film layer and a print accepting layer. SOLUTION: The correcting material for the label face of an optical recording medium is used to correct the record or printed content erroneously performed, to change the record or printed content when the stored information is to be changed, and to erase the record or printed content to renew the stored information. The correcting material for the label face consists of a laminated body having at least a foamed film layer and a print accepting layer, and preferably an adhesive layer or cohesive layer is formed on the surface of the correcting material where the print accepting layer is not formed. Further, a release paper is laminated on the surface of the correcting material where the printing accepting layer is not formed. The structural material of the print accepting layer is properly prepared according to the printing method used. When a thermal transfer method is used, the layer usually consists of a resin having dyeing property and fine particles to be compounded as required into the resin. |
