PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and cost of a switching power supply device, maintaining sufficient input power factor improvement effect. SOLUTION: In a switching power supply device, a ripple voltage VP is switched in high voltage periods of the ripple voltage VP, to output an output voltage VO to the output part side of the device via a 1st winding 2a, and a smoothed DC voltage VDC is switched in the low voltage periods of the ripple voltage VP to output the output voltage VO to the output part side via a 2nd winding 2b. The 1st and 2nd windings 2a and 2b are coupled magnetically with each other. |
