Data manipulation of subscriber individual entries within telephone book centrally stored in telecommunications network

A subscriber can access the telephone book (HLR, VST1) over different subscriber terminals (MS, TLN). Information about the display or storage of telephone book entries is transmitted from the centrally stored telephone book to the subscriber terminal, which is activated from the subscriber or network side. Depending on the interactions performed by the subscriber at the activated terminal, the data for the manipulation of the telephone book entries are transmitted from the terminal to the centrally stored telephone book. The telecommunications network comprises a mobile network (PLMN) and a fixed network (PSTN).
